Mt Verne (1632 meters)
Pourquoi Pas Island - February 1991
|
After setting up a camp on the glacier near
the shore, we decided to take the weather window and climb at night. Although
it was late February there was still a sufficient glow in the south to climb
without head torches. 30 pitches on 55 degrees ice and snow.

route on the south face of one of the highest peaks in Marguerite Bay. We named
the climb The Nautilus Wall |
