After a somewhat sobering South Georgia mountaineering expedition in September where we were reminded yet again what the weather can be like on the island, we are all back home licking our wounds – and planning on next year’s adventures. See the video/photo gallery below.

Vinson of Antarctica is now beginning a 20 day dive charter in the Falkland Islands, followed by Rick Tomlinson’s photo safari in November/December on South Georgia, hopefully in better weather conditions!

Meanwhile Amundsen after some significant delays in Holland, is now at Hamble Yacht Service undergoing final preparations before sailing south at the beginning of December.
